Media Ethics

In this course you will learn to apply an ethical decision making process to critically analyze ethics in media, and in particular, news media, as well as your own personal ethics. It includes an examination of the ethical dilemmas faced by practitioners primarily in journalism, public relations and advertising, and provides a basis for critical analysis in finding solutions. Readings and case studies will serve as tools to help students tackle these issues.
